Solutions for your battery drainage problem =====>>

->reduce screen brightness to the lowest level or at least optimum level

->reduce 'screen timeout' to 10/15 secs

->disable vibration for incoming notifications / calls

->listen to music using earphone not speaker

->always exit apps after use, do not keep them running in minimized mode

->use task manager apps like :
    • Android Task Manager
    • Free Advanced Task Manager
    • Watchdog Task Manager Lite
    • System Panel App
    • Task Manager
    • Battery Dr saver+a task killer
**these steps if taken properly, will save your battery significantly

Re: After reboot HTC Droid Eris, fully charged battery gets drained in 3 hours

    hey friend ..

I would like to tell you that any phone whether its android or symbian , needs more battery to startup or when rebooted takes more battery then on the normal standby mode or usage..
This is the reason you experiencing this battery backup of only 3 hours or so...

Also you can try out some of the points to increase battery backup of your phone...:

    - The brightness of the phone should be kept as low as possible in which you think can adjust to operate the phone normally
    - Also the vibration of the phone is one thing which consumes the battery more .. so , if you think you dont need the vibration facility then do check it and make it off...
    - Try to keep your phone in power saver mode or sleep mode should be activated...
    - Bluetooth , GPS and WIFI are the features which should be turned off when not in use...

    - Always charge your phone completely and not partially
    - Unnecessary apps being opened in the background also consumes battery ... So , close them when not in use ...

Other then this you can surely change your battery but change only with the original one ..
    thanks
