Android based Samsung Galaxy Note not connecting Kies software

Even though my Android based Samsung Galaxy Note works fine, it does connect to the Samsung Kies software installed on my PC. I am sure that the settings on the PC have no problems. How can I fix up this issue?

Launch the ‘Settings’ app available in your phone and locate the ‘Wireless & network’ option. Once you find that option, make a single tap over it. Choose the ‘USB Utilities’ option afterwards and hit the ‘Connect storage to PC’ option. Try to connect the device to Kies software after that. If the device fails to connect, then unplug it from PC and restart it. You can use the ‘Power’ button for turning on and off the phone. After performing these steps, plug it back to the USB port and see whether it is possible to connect to Kies software.

Re: Android based Samsung Galaxy Note not connecting Kies software

    hey friend ..

Following could be the reasons why you are not able to connect your Samsung Note with the PC..:

    - The data cable or the usb cable you are using is faulty

    - KIES version is outdated
    - Your PC's usb port is faulty or damaged
    - Your device's usb jack is faulty or damaged

    - Drivers not working perfectly

Follow below steps to remove the problem :

    - Use the data cable in another PC and then see whether it connects with device or not .. If it does then it is not faulty and if it does not then its faulty
    - Check by connecting one pen drive or external drive device into your PC's usb port ... its connection and non connection will show you whether your PC's usb port is faulty or not
    - Uninstall and reinstall the drivers
    - Check for any updates available for the KIES software you are using

Try the above steps and i am sure it will connect.. If it does not then take your device to the service centre and get it checked

    thanks
