Android powered Nexus 7 going slow and free memory less than 2GB

I am using an Android powered Nexus 7 for some time. It was working fine without any issues. Now I can see that device is getting slower when free memory is less than 2GB. How can I overcome this situation?

This is an issue raised by most of the people owning this gadget. You don’t need to worry as the latest Android 4.1.2 is rolling out that will help you to overcome this problem. It will offer much improved performance to the device providing a good user experience. You can access this update as OTA making it easy for the users. For the time being you can remove the unwanted data from the memory to make more memory space free. You have options to save it in some secondary devices and can be retrieved back after getting the update. You can also try out a factory reset which will help to improve the performance to some extent.
