Android version 2.1 or higher is the minimum requirement if you go for Google Drive for android installation in phones. Android version 3.0 or higher is required if you need to install it on your tablet. ‘About phone’ or ‘About tablet’ section has to be visited on the settings screen if you wish to check the android version of your gadget. Then you need to tap on the option labelled “Android version”. The version number of the android OS on your gadget will be displayed there.

The Google Drive App is available in the Google Play store..With this app you can access both Google Drive and Google Docs..You can edit documents on the Google DOCs using this app
For downloading or installing the Google drive,
1.You need Android Version 2.1 or higher for mobile phones
2.You need Android Version 3.0 or higher

The Basic Android Versions should be 2.0 minimum or higher than it .
And Some times it do depends on the device .
The Current Android versions used for tablets and mobiles are Android 4.0
with Ginger Bread Board .
To check the android version , just tap on the version number of the Android OS on your Gadget
it will be displayed there .
