Try doing the following, this will help you to Clear the Notifications coming from the Kindle. Go to Menu --> Google play.
After that just search through and open the Kindle App you have Installed in the device, Now disable the "Automatic UPDATE" and then come out of the page. Just Reboot the Device after the change for few times and use the Device normally. Now because that the automatic update was cancelled, the Kindle will not show any Notifications with out You again enabling the Service.

Disabling Automatic Update of any App will clear the notifications associated with the App. what it actually does is that, it will completely stop all the important automatic updates and notifications from the Google play Store.
Later if you want the notifications to be displayed you have to do it by enabling the feature.
