    Calendar app unresponsive after latest update on Google Nexus 7 Android handset

    Followed by the latest update on my Google Nexus 7 Android handset, the calendar app went unresponsive. This is not getting resolved even after I went for some known fix up measures. What has to be done to clear this issue?

    Unlock your device then on home screen locate the app drawer.Hit to open that & get inot menu window there will find an option as 'settings' hit to open that.Then a window appear scroll down & tap over 'applications',few sub options will appear.Now gently hit over 'manage applications' a window appear with apps that you have installed.If you have installed calender app from play store then locate there & hit to open.Once done a window appear scroll down & tap on 'clear cache' memory will be clerared & problem could be solved.If app is inbuilt then on manage applications window above will see 'all' option.Hit to open that & search for 'calender app'.Open that & then tap on clear cache' memory will be cleared & problem could be solved.

    Hi,
    The Calendar application that you are using in the device which is not responsive can be repaired by clearing the Data and cache of the device, if that is the method that you tried to fix the issue then probably you should download the Google Calendar application that can be used in replacement for the default calendar application that can be used. That application can be downloaded from "Play Store" and then you can easily sync your calendar events with that calendar so that it will serve the purpose of the calendar. The calendar that came with the device if not being able to fix the issue the probably by formatting the device which can be done by opening "Settings->Privacy".
    Hope this Helps.

    My dear friend.

    If the Calender app is unresponsive then you need to clear the cache for that app.

    Follow the steps in order to do that:-

    --> Go to Menu.

    --> Click on Settings.

    --> Tap on Manage applications.

    --> Select the calender app and open the details of the app.

    --> From the details you can clear the cache memory corresponding to the app.

    I hope this will help.

    If still the problem persists then i guess the calender app is not compatible with the latest update.

    Regards
    tanveersandhu.
