    Call Recorder not working on Samsung Galaxy SII since ICS upgrade

    After upgrading my Samsung Galaxy SII to ICS 4.0.3, call recorder feature has stopped working on the device. Is there any fix available for this problem?

    You might have stopped.downloading in.between the upgradation so it is having that type of problem and samsung have officialy launched the upgrade so there is no chance of sucherror or install the ics upgrade again

    Hello,

    The person above is saying the right thing.There must be an error in the upgradation process . You should try re upgrading or show it to any mobile shop.Or may be you can give it to the Samsung care which would surely help you to get it correct.

    hey

    Try updating call recorder to the latest version. check it out in play store.

    I have call recorder it works but the voice of the other person records with a very low voice. it very hard to hear the other persons voice.

    still it works and after updating it doesnt save the recording itself you have to do it yourself.

    That is actually a welcome change.

    the firmware version 4.0.3 does not support call recording in samsung S II. this feature gets disabled in this model after the upgradation.
    in order to record the calls you need to down grade back to the older android version which again is a tough job.
    i too am facing the same problem

    Hello

    You have to download call recorder application from the Google play and download call recorder pro , call recorder lite etc are available install it ..

    if any internal problem occurs then try to reset all factories in it or upgrade once and re install it .

    Hello Dear...

    This is the most common problem of many users after upgrading their handset to android latest version.
    Actually most of the apps were already installed on previous android os and when we upgrade that, the installed files also gets erased.

    So what you can do now that you can download the same call recorder software from Android Store or Google Play and then run in your device again.
    This will not create any issue.
    The name of these software:-

    1. Auto call recorder
    2. All Call Recorder
    3. Android Call Recorder App for Android,

    Hello friend,
    There may be some software or virus regarding issue to must have to reset your phone and then try again.

    Remember, by performing a reset, all your data- settings, messages, apps, etc would be deleted.
    So backup up anything important.

    Follow these steps:
    - Go to 'Settings'.
    - Privacy.
    - 'Factory Data Reset'.
    - Fill in your id and password and confirm.
    - You can choose whether to delete SD card data or not.

    After the process is complete, your device would return to its out-of-the-box state or to its factory settings.

    hello..

    there must be some software issue or some virus attack on your device..
    so you should firstly download the good antivirus like Quick Heal,AVG...
    and then install it on your device..
    and scan the whole device..
    and if also the problem persist then you should factory reset your device..
    and before doing that first backup your data...
    if also the same issue persist then you should update the version of the application..
    as after updation some files may get erased..
