Can I set up my Android tablet to receive selected notifications from Google +?

Even though it is possible to use Google + application on my Android phone, I am getting notifications from all types of features. I need to receive notifications from selected features only. What has to be done for accomplishing this?

Re: Can I set up my Android tablet to receive selected notifications from Google +?

First of all, open the Google+ application on your device. Hit the menu button after launching the application. The next step required is to get into the settings options available on your phone. Scroll through those options afterwards until you can view ‘Notification Settings’ option. You can then view several notifications set up on your phone. Locate the notifications you need and retain the check mark next to it. Disable the other notifications by tapping the checkbox next to it.
