Change the lock time for HTC Sense

My HTC Sense tends to get locked few minutes after placing it idle. Is there any way to increase the time period?

Re: Change the lock time for HTC Sense

As a first step, you should search for the ‘Settings’ icon on your home page. Once you find it, you should place your fingers over it and tap once. After that, you can view the list of basic settings of your android phone. You should tap the ‘Security’ option from that list. Then, you should make a single tap over ‘Lock Phone’ option. You can then view different time periods after which your phone tends to lock by itself. You can select the highest time period from that list. If you don’t want to lock your phone while it is in idle state, then you should select ‘Never’ option from it.

Re: Change the lock time for HTC Sense

    Hi,
In order to change the screen lock time of the HTC device you can change the settings by opening the "Settings" menu from the application drawer and in that menu you will find an option as "Location&Security" in that option you will find an option as "Lock Phone" select that, there you will find the amount of time you can change so that your phone will be locked automatically once it reaches the time after it is kept idle the Screen Lock time can be kept to the desired value so that the phone doesn't get locked even though the phone screen in turned off.
    Hope this Helps.

Firstly Go to Menu> Settings> Security
Here you will get an option Automatically Lock phone. Tap here.
You will get options like-- Immediately,5 secs,15 secs,30 secs,1 min and so on..
Here you can choose the options as per your requirement.

You can change this settings very easily to suit your needs. Just go to Menu in your phone and then tap on "Settings". After that, point to "Display". Now you will get a screen with four options. Just select the "Screen Time-Out" option and you can set the time out delay as per your choice. Thank You..... :-)

Re: Change the lock time for HTC Sense

    Hello

First choose the sleep time of your phone that is in how many minutes your phones display should turn off.

For that go to settings-->>display-->>screen timeout-->>choose the time limit

then for locking of your screen go to settings-->>security-->>then tap on lock automatically-->>chhose the timing

in mine i have 5 sec after sleep

So after the diplay turns off the phone gets locked after just 5 sec. You can increase your timing.

    Thank you
