Changing weather units from Fahrenheit to Celsius on Android based Google Galaxy Nexus using Google Now

I have recently upgraded my android phone, Google Galaxy Nexus into JellyBean. It is showing Fahrenheit as weather units instead of Celsius. My friend told me that it can be changed with Google Now. Is it true? If so, what are the procedures required for that?

Get into the ‘Settings’ screen by tapping the corresponding option. You can then view a set of options listed on the screen. Tap the ‘Google Now’ option for getting into another list of options. Go to the top part of the list and tap the ‘Weather’ option. The next step required is to tap the ‘Weather units’ option visible on the screen. A window will then pop up on the screen from which select ‘Celsius’ option. The changes can be seen while you get back to the main Google Now screen.
