Some times updates will end up creating some problem like this, You can do the following to make sure that your Device is error Free;
1) After Upgrading, try to update all the softwares and Applications installed in the OS.
2) Make sure all the settings you have configured are Good.
3) Pair the Data connection with the Mobile and make it remember the Connection.
4) If the Connection is constantly getting broken then you have to get help from the Service center.
That might be a problem due to the your Network please check that you have full network signal and also the problem might occur due to the option as APN change that and it will work properly. In order to change your APN navigate to Settings->Wireless&Networks->Mobile Network and then select the option as Access Point Names just change the Name to "Vodafone" if it is "Vodafone IN" it will work properly.
Hope this Helps.
