Default browser crashes on Asus EeePad Transformer android tablet

When I start up the default browser on my android powered Asus EeePad Transformer, it will get back to home screen after few seconds. I have restarted the device several times and failed to resolve this issue. What else should I do to make the browser to work again?

    Hi friend,
If the default browser app crashes, try to clear the cache and data of the browser app
    1.Go to Menu
    2.Tap "Settings"
    3.Now tap "Applications"
    4.Then go to "Manage Applications"
    5.Select "All" tab
6.Then go to "Browser" app you have
7.Tap on "Clear cache" and "Clear Data"
8.Restart the mobile and relaunch the app
If the default browser app not working after done the above procedure, then do a factory reset to get the default browser working properly..But before doing factory reset, you need to backup your files..After backup the files,do the following steps to factory reset
    1.Go to Menu
    2.Tap "Settings"
    3.Now tap on "Privacy"
    4.Tap on "Factory Data Reset"
    5.Tap on the "Reset Phone"
6.Finally Tap "Erase Everything" to finish the reset..
Now launch the default browser app..It will work for sure

    Thank you!!!

Well it is quite a simple process . All you need to do is just clear the cache memory that's it. To do that you have to do a few settings in your phone which are as following.>>1. Firstly goto the main menu in the home screen of your phone.>>2. After that goto the settings application in the menu that is available.>>3. There you will find this option which is this manage applications which you have to tap on.>>4. After u are done with it, in there you will find the all applications option, tap on it.>>5. As of now select the browser option in the available applications.>>6. Now you have tap on the clear cache option which is available in it. That's it you are done with it hope this helps.

    hey friend

I understood the problem and it seems like you have to clear the caches , cookies stored in your tablet while using internet on it ..

To delete the internet browser's cache stored in your android tablet then you have to follow the steps given below :

    - First of all open the internt browser
    - Then you have to tap on ''menu'' option
    - In there you will see the option of ''settings'' which you have to open by tapping
    - Now you have to tap on ''privacy and security'' option
    - There the option of clearing your cache will be available for you .. Just tap on '' clear cache'' and all the cache will be cleared from the tablet

I am sure after this you will be able to use internet on your tab without any issue but if the problem remains then first try factory data reset and if it also doenst help you out then take your tab to the service centre and get it checked..

    thanks
