When I connect my Samsung Galaxy Ace to Dell Inspiron, it does not recognize the smartphone. I have connected it using the USB come along with my Android smartphone. How can I connect successfully without this issue?

    Hello dear,

May be you have some problem in
    1. your USB cable.
    2. USB port

Check both of them by connecting some another device with same port....

    Thanks for contacting us......

    Hello friend,
There may be some problem in your USB Cable. Or switch off your phone and then switch it on after sometime. As you switch it on you will see a dialogue box showing two options: PC Connections or Memory Card select Memory card and then try it again. and then also if it does not work try in any other device or use another USB Cable..............................
    *Thank you*

it occurs normally when there is some defect in USB cable
you need to replace it with another one

or first try to do proper connection in your phone for pc
    switch off your phone
    as you will switch on
you will get an option connect to pc or connect memory card
    select according to your requirement
    and then try
surely above two method will short out your problem

    thank you

The USB cable or USB port are not the reason for the problem.

Install kies, only then will your droid be detected in the laptop.

    Download kies from here---> link

Kies will install the drivers along with the PC suite.

Alternatively, download the Android SDK and install the Android USB drivers.

The USB drivers will be present in the Extras Menu.

Download Android SDK from here---> link

If you installed the Drivers correctly,

you'll get --> "Android USB Devices"
    |
-- SAMSUNG Android Composite ADB Interface
    in the Device Manager.

    Hello friend,

I will help you to solve your problem, don't worry just follow as i say.

There might be the problem with your PC's USB please try to connect it to the another USB port of your PC.

Also try to update if any updates available for KIES if there is no update then uninstall it and then Reinstall it .

Then try to connect your phone to PC.

If still not working then try to connect it to another PC.

It you are facing the same problem but if you can charge your mobile without any problem means that your phone's charging port is working fine.

If not then it might be the problem with your phone's charging port only.

If it is no the problem then try to change the USB cable and your problem will be solved for sure.

    All the best................

Re: Dell Inspiron does not recognize Samsung Galaxy Ace

    hello guest,

there are two reasons for your problem

    1. USB PORT IS DAMAGED: if the usb ports are damaged, the computer will not be able to properly communicate with your device and hence will not be able to recognize it.

    2. SOFTWARE NOT INSTALLED: in the recent windows if the computer software is not installed, then the computer is not able to recognize the dvice. so install samsung kites before connecting your phone.
