Disabling 3D animations on Motorola Droid Bionic running on Android 2.3.4

It is possible to view 3D animations on my Motorola Droid Bionic running on Android 2.3.4 during screen transitions. This feature makes my device a little slower in performing actions. In what way can I turn it off?

Locate the ‘Menu’ button on your device and make a single press on it. By the time you can view a menu on the screen, select ‘Settings’ option from it. The settings menu will be displayed on the screen after that. Take a look at that menu and tap the ‘Display’ option. Go through the display settings afterwards and find out ‘Animation’ option. By tapping on that option, you can view ‘No animation’ and ‘All animations’ items along with a green circle. Tap on the circle next to ‘No animation’ item.
