Re: Does the Galaxy S2 support face lock feature?

Galaxy S2 does support the feature of face lock. For this, first you need to tap on menu from the home screen. Then you need to tap on the option called settings. You will have to find the option called security in the settings menu. There you need to choose the option called Screen lock and choose Face lock. Now, you need to look into the phone and you will have to align your face in such a way that it fits into the white circle that shows up on the screen. You will also have to setup another type of security too, so that if the phone fails to scan your face due to bad light, then the second option can be activated.

    Hi,
The face lock feature is supported in the phone Samsung Galaxy S2 the features provide you more security over your phone. The Face unlock feature can be activated by navigating to "Settings" menu from the application drawer and then select the option as "Location&Security" there you will find an option as "Set up screen lock" select that and it will display the list of available features for you, you have to select the option as Face Unlock there you align the face towards the camera and also make sure that there is sufficient light available such that the device capture the image and so your face will be recorded once the feature is enabled you will only be able to unlock the phone and nobody else will be able to.
    Hope this Helps.

    Hey

Yes it does support but its still in experiental mode.

You can try it though but its available only when you upgrade to ICS.

Go to seetings-->>security and locks-->>tap on screen locks then choose from 4 to five different options.

AFter that it will take a photo of your face and save it and you are done.

From next time just show your phones front camera you face to unlock your device

    Thanks
