Double contacts in my Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 32GB after the sync

I have just synced my outlook contacts with my new Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 32GB. Now I can see multiple entries for my contacts. For e.g. I have 1 entry for Richa Office from outlook and another for Richa from facebook/Google. Both Johns are the same so I should have only 1 entry. How do I get just 1 entry for Richa?

    Hello friend,

I will help you to solve your problem, don't worry just follow as i say.

1.Firstly go to the Home screen of your phone.

2.And then tap and open the 'Contacts' tab.

3.Now tap on the option of 'Menu' tab.

4.And then go for the option of 'Display options' tab.

5.Now under the option of 'Select Contacts to Display' tab select the required Email account or phone or Sim card option.

6.Then you can see only once the contact will be displayed.

    All the best....................................

Reason behind this problem is allowing your mobile to sync with all the accounts like Google, Facebook, outlook, etc.

It is better to remove all the contacts and and allow only google to sync with your contacts.. if you have any extra entry then install it manually..
It is always recommended to to sync with only one service either it is Google or Facebook or outlook.

If you dont want to delete the contacts then you need to merge, but you may find it difficulty while browsing through your contacts..

    Happy to assist you
