Downgrading Android mobile to 2.3 version

I had an upgrade done on my Android Sony Xperia mobile to Android 4.0. Since the update, the phone has slowed down and itís no longer comfortable working with it. I would like to get the 2.3 version back and go for a downgrade. How can the downgrade be done?

Before starting with anything the first task to be done is getting every data on your phone backed up. After downgrade you are bound to lose your data. You would need the flash tool for this purpose so get one downloaded if you do not have it. Download the 2.3 Android file for getting it installed and save it into the flash tools folder. Once this is done, connect the phone to your computer via the USB and open the flash tool. Open the flash icon and select the flash mode from it after which you got to select the 2.3 file you had saved in it. It does this by itself usually, but in case it is not done, you’ll have to do it manually. After selecting the file click on the ok button and follow the instructions mentioned by the software.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

Steps for downgrading the android device:

:: So from the PC browser, you can download the 2.3 Android OS file.

:: Once you can download then connect the device to PC and move the download OS
    in to flash folder.

:: Now disconnect the and open the Flash tool.

:: From the tool screen hit the flash mode, this will ask for the OS file.

:: SO you can provide the OS path where you save.

:: Then flash the device OS.

    Done
