Downgrading Kyocera Zio M6000 from Android 2.2.1 to 2.1

My Kyocera Zio M6000 has recently upgraded from Android 2.1 to Android 2.2.1 and I have encountered some unknown error on accessing certain applications. I am planning to downgrade it to Android 2.1. How can I do that?

If you have recovery image of the old Android OS, then it will be possible, Just you have to booth the image and replace the Newer boot Image. But it involves too much of Risk and sometimes you may end up totally spoiling your Device. Get help from a proper android technician thats the best way to approach the problem.
