Enabling ‘Face unlock’ feature on Android powered HTC One X

There are several sensitive messages and files with my newly bought Android powered HTC One X. I would like to set up ‘Face unlock’ on the device for preventing others from accessing its data. What is the procedure for enabling that?

As a first step, you need to open Notifications panel on the device by sliding. Browse through the items displayed on the panel and hit the ‘Security’ option. Locate ‘Screen lock’ from the security settings afterwards and tap over it for once. Then, choose ‘Face Unlock’ from the available options. After that, hit the ‘Continue’ button and follow the instructions given on the screen. You can then create an alternative lock to use if the phone can’t recognize in any special case. Tap the ‘Lock phone’ afterwards and enter the idle time you want for locking the screen.
