Facebook App taking too much time to show the notifications?

I have recently installed Facebook App.It installed without any problem but when i use it, it takes too much time to open notification or messages or friend request.Most of the times it displays an antenna logo and says network is down but there is no problem of network here and internet works fine with browsers.What is the issue?

Probable Reasons:

• Internet Connection speed
• Too many Accounts are Synchronized with the Device

Solutions:

• The Problem with any app is that it does not work as fast as the original website or webpage, if your data is synchronizing with in minutes Gap then its fine. Dont Expect the results to be there in a second.
• Optimize your System for Better Performance, and always make sure that your internet connection is working Good.

It seems to be problem with your data connection.Now as facebook notifications require to be syncing with servers all the time you need to have a good quality data connection.The other case may be that facebook won't be getting the required bandwidth because of other constantly syncing apps are eating up your bandwidth so what I'll suggest you is that Turn off your auto syncing apps and Instant messaging apps as it would reduce Mobile data usage or switch to a better data connection plan.

If none of this work try reverting back to factory settings and see if it works.

I think Facebook is very side,there is always lots of user that way some time its take much time to open any popup.Try some ddifferent time,may be you get fast speed that time.

It is quiet possible that sometimes not only facebook but another apps will take a long time to show the notifications. It is depend on the speed of the internet or the very huge installed apps on to your mobile. I will suggest you to try at any other time/place to connect the internet and do not install any very huge apps on to your mobile phone.

Problems associated with FB App is most common problems to users who are using 2G a little slow connectivity or loosing connection. It is not an issue. Sometimes it may happen that there is a connectivity lost or loading time out or not enough strong network connectivity just refresh it.

there are many reasons behind it so i cant say direct solution for this
reason can be trafic on net means many people using that website together
you are using low rate of internet
so there are many reasons
you can just avoid it but cant solve this problem for ever use the net in night time when crowd on net is less
use branded internet for your android

It depends on your internet speed. if the data connection is slow the notifications take time to report to profile. Check your network signals or network settings. You can use a different browser other than the this. Use opera 10 or MOZILLA currently launched for phones. Try to clear your cache for faster service.

It can be generally possible due to low internet speeds . You should either go for the 3g speeds in your phone or try it in a slower 2g manner. You can also choose to download the latest version of Facebook Fast Viewer. It will make your browsing fast even on slower connections.

Actually Facebook application is a heavy site ,So the downloading is slow compared to its mobile version
And you must prefer high speed data package like 3 G in your handset to get fastest service
OR use m.facebook.com for fast accessing
