The gallery on my Samsung GT-i9000 galaxy s is become very unstable. I can’t see my photos and the videos in the SD card. After a short time (ten seconds or so) I get the force close notification. It is very difficult to troubleshoot. How can I solve this problem?

It happens, the thing with External memory is that some times when the mobile processing speed is very slow then it wont be recognized. There are certain things you can do it get rid of this problem. The basic concept is how well we are managing the Memory of the device.
- Make sure that not so many Apps are running behind actual App.
- Always close all the unnecessary Running Services.
- Organize the Apps Effectively so that the Running speed of the Mobile would be Good all the Time.
- Free up the RAM buffer memory, that will help the device to recognize the External Memory easily.
- When ever it got struck and Force close, better reboot the Device.
By doing a factory reset to your device you can solve all the problems but for the SD card problem try downloading a File manager application if the problem still persists then try formatting your SD card and copy all the files again that might also as some sectors of your SD card might be corrupt doing this will improve the efficiency of the SD card accessing as this will remove the bad sectors from your SD card. Always do a backup before do anything as i might give you a hand when ever you need it.

This problem would be arise if your software be hang.To avoid this type of problem please delete some apps from your internal memory or SD card memory. After that restart your phone once again. Becouse if your phone memory is full then this types of problem may occur.I think if you follow the procedure which I tell, your problem may resolve.
