Getting error 9230 in my HTC Desire S

I have had the HTC Desire S for a while now, and there is one problem I can't seem to fix. The phone seems to constantly drop the area code off and all messages I receive from just one specific contact. So when I go to reply to that person, I get a 9230 error (not using a ten digit number) and I have to go to my contacts screen and choose to send a new message from there. Give me ideas to fix it?

to solve the above said problem read the following steps

##go to main menu

##click on settings tab

##click on preferences

##click on security option

##click on restore factory settings

##it will delete all settings and update with new settings

these steps may solve your problem

Getting error 9230 in my HTC Desire S

for error problem on the set follow the below---

1st-->open the home page from the deice.

2nd-->click the menu option.

3rd-->select the setting option.

4th-->click on the preference option.

5th-->followed by the security option.

6th-->select on restore factory settings

7th-->now open the delete option.

8th-->click all settings and update with new settings

i think this is the software problem
so you have to reset the device
1 go to settings
2 then tap on the privacy
3 then tap on factory data reset
4 now wait for some time
5 then update all the apps and settings
