Getting vibration on Android based Samsung Galaxy W while receiving text or chat message

Every time I receive a text message or Gmail chat message through my Android based Samsung Galaxy W, it will vibrate for few seconds. Normally, I can avoid this by restarting the phone. Now, the restart won’t solve this problem. In what way can I get rid of this vibration completely from my phone?

You must check the settings of message & Gmail. First of all unlock your device then navigate to option "Message" on home screen.Tap to open that & a window appear after that tap over "Menu key".A pop up appear with few options, you must hit over an option as "Settings".Once open a new window appear with several sub-options.Now scroll down there select "Notification settings" there will find an option as "Vibration".You must hit over check box which is associated with the option, once done tick mark will be disappeared. After that there will be no vibration for incoming messages. To stop the vibration for Gmail, get into the menu & open the Gmail icon. After that tap over "More",once open tap over "Settings".Once open scroll down & below will see an option as "Notification Settings".Under that select & tap to open "Vibrate".Once open then drag below & tap over "Never".Once done there will no vibration for gmail chat messages.
