Consider this issue..
You using Android latest version Jelly Bean which is the best one..
And its opening some pages while using google chrome..in your device chrome is missed some internal settings..
So that's the reason only its not responding to you uninstall the chrome and newly download it from the play store and access it..
Then clear cache and manage the apps list in your device move some data to sd card make some free space in internal memory..
