Google Play Store on Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V shows error while downloading any apps

Every time I try to download any apps through Google Play Store on my Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V, it says “App Name could not be downloaded due to an error: 425”. Sometimes, it shows the error code 495 on doing the same action. This problem starts appearing on my phone since upgrading it to Android 4.0. In what way can I resolve this error?

Looks like you have some major Bug with the Device, the error might have happened when you upgrade the Device from lower version to higher version. It is very important that you have to use the best method and correct procedure to upgrade the Android version else these type of errors tend to occur.

For this you need the help of proper Android technician, better get the mobile serviced at authorized centers, thats where you can repair the Device.

There are two reason that may be reposible for this problem. First is slow internet
speed and second is low space on your phone. So first of all you need to check it.
If there is no above types of problem then is on opening data socket.

Error 425 come due to unable to open data socket. You can solve this problem by
    doing following things:-

    1. Start Swiftp only using 3G connection
    2. Open FTP client and connect to phone
    3. Filezilla client authenticates and fails at the end with error 425
    4. Fails to list directory
    5. tried the "/" and that did not help
    6. All this works fine when using WIFI connection on phone.

Error report on downloading applications. Navigate to settings->applications->all applications and select the application as play store, clear cache and data. After that reboot your phone enter into Play store and try downloading the application if that doesn't help then uninstall the updates.
    Hope this helps.

This may be due to recent updates in Play Store... Try uninstall updates and clearing data... To do this go to Settings --> Applications --> Manage applications --> all TAB --> play store and hit clear data and uninstall update...This should solve your problem... Or else try doing a factory reset...

    hi friend,

if you are not able to download the application
    from google play store ....

then it is possible that this problem comes because of upgradation
of your mobile from lower version to higher version ....

so check that if you have upgraded your mobile in the correct way ....

if you have not upgraded your mobile then you might get some
problems in downloading or get some errors ...

so go to the nearest SONY MOBILE SERVICE CENTRE if you
    donot get the solution .....

    hope this will help you

    best of luck....
