    GPS not working properly on Samsung Galaxy Nexus upgraded to Android JellyBean

    I am having trouble with the GPS feature in my Samsung Galaxy Nexus since upgrading it to Android JellyBean. Even though there is GPS icon on the notification bar, it is empty. When I try to pull down the icon, it does search for GPS signal. But, the device never finds the signal. Is there any solution available for this problem?

    The first step required is to launch Google Play Store app on your Android phone. Locate search field from the app screen and type GPS Test application into it. Tap the ‘search’ button and wait until the application displayed on the search results. When you find that app, hit the ‘Install’ button for starting the downloading process. Once the installation process get finished, tap the app icon for opening it. Go to the settings page of the app after that. Find out the ‘Update AGPS’ option from that page and select it by tapping over the box next to it. Try to access GPS after configuring the settings properly.

    My dear friend.

    Sometimes things like that can happen after updating the OS version.

    So don't worry about it.

    Follow the steps in order to fix it:-

    --> Tap on Menu.

    --> Connect your device to internet.

    --> Go to Google Play Store.

    --> Type GPS test application in the search bar.

    --> Tap on the search button after doing that.

    --> Choose the app from the displayed app results.

    --> Download and install the app.

    --> After installing open the app.

    --> Now tap on the Update AGPS button in the app.

    --> Now try accessing the GPS after configuring the settings properly.

    This may help a lot.

    Regards
    tanveersandhu.
