How to auto-save contacts to SIM card or phone by default on the android phone?

Whenever I save a new number to the contacts of my Android phone it will ask where to save say phone, SIM card or Google account. It will be more convenient and efficient if I can set the default save location. How can I auto-save the contacts by default?

Re: How to auto-save contacts to SIM card or phone by default on the android phone?

Go to the Contacts of your Android phone, which is accessible at the bottom drawer of the phone. Then press on the menu button and when the Contacts menu appears, choose More option to see more settings. After that, go to the settings option. Then find the ‘Save New Contacts to’ option on the settings. It will be set to ‘Always Ask’ mode by default. Just tap on it to change. Then the window will pop up with two options: Phone, SIM and Google account. Choose the location you wish to save your contacts and it will be saved to your device. In case you want to change the location just repeat the above steps.
