    How can I update my Samsung Galaxy S with the official Android 2.3.5 firmware?

    This is Madhur ray from Chennai and I am using Samsung galaxy s advance mobile and I want to update my mobile to official firmware with android 2.3.5, how can i do it on my mobile?

    Go to Settings, Scroll down to "About Phone" --> Check system updates to find out is there any software updates available for your device, if then you can easily install the updates and upgrade your Device.

    If you are planning to do it manually, then you have to root your Device and upgrade or downgrade the Android VERSION of your Device.All the Best.

    For Rooting Procedure, try to find the code by searching Google.

    Well...
    Now...samsung has also launched 2.3.6 for Galaxy S..
    You can simply update it with Samsung kies..
    connect your phone With kies and check for latest Firmware...!!!
    Otherwise...
    If you have a fast interenet connection...
    Go to settings in your phone..
    -About phone
    -Software Updates.!!
    Install it..!!

    Hello Dear Friend,

    As you want to know about that how can you update Samsung Galaxy S with the official Android 2.3.5 firmware for this you have to update it with kies after connecting it with kies and download it for latest firmware for this you need better internet connection.

    Just follow the steps given below and you will be able to update your software in your samsung android phone :


    - First of all make sure that you have samsung kies software being installed into your PC..
    If you dont already have then you can download it from the samsung.com site..
    - Then make sure to take backup of all the important data of your phone to the PC
    - After you have installed the kies software into your PC make sure that your phone has no open applications in it ..
    - Now connect your phone with the PC using the usb cable and select samsung kies in your phone when prompted
    - Next open the kies software in your PC and make sure that your PC is connected to the internet
    - The kies software will search for available software update for your phone ..
    - Then you will be prompted to update your firmware ..just click on update option and then wait..
    - The moment you hit update option kies will download the update from the internet to your phone and then install it ..
    - When done you will be prompted to restart your phone ...
    So , just restart your phone and then you are done with the software update process..

    To update/upgrade the phone software..
    Go to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update..
    It will show you the list of the updates if available..
    you can then select the updates you want to install..
    but remember that you should have a steady internet connection to do so..

    Hello friend,


    I will help you to solve your problem,don't worry just follow as i say.

    1.Firstly install the latest version of Kies software supported by your phone in to you PC.

    2.Now connect your phone to PC using the data cable.

    3.After that download the required update files from internet.

    4.And then after wards go to recovery mode and followed by rooting your phone.

    Hi friends...

    update my Samsung Galaxy S with the official Android 2.3.5 firmware

    follow the steps below--

    -->open the home page from the device.

    -->connect the faster internet service like 3G.

    -->click the setting option.

    -->go to the about phone option.

    -->open the option software update .

    -->click the button of the updating .

    -->then install it & solve the matter.
