How can internal overheating be warned on Android devices?

I have had the LCD screen of my 2 and a half month old Android Dell Streak tablet shattered due to overheating. I donít really know how this happened and would like to avoid it in future. Is there any possibility of a warning for overheating for tabs?

Re: How can internal overheating be warned on Android devices?

Internal overheating can be caused due to some external factors like room temperature, elevation of the room etc though the main reason would be its prolonged use continuously or the load on CPU usage. I understand you would be getting your new one as you have asked for precautions. So as soon as you get the new one follow the steps as I say to download certain apps that would help keep an eye on CPU usage and battery heating. Log on to your Google account and browse the download the apps from ‘https://market.android.com/details?i...letcpuusagesmo nitorfree&feature=related_apps’ for monitoring the CPU usage and ‘https://market.android.com/details?i...s&hl=en’, which is a battery widget. Once you have them installed open them in the folder and have them shown on the top so that you can keep an eye on them.
