How to change country in play store in android

I want to change the country from Russia to India in Google Play store.Please guide me to do so.I am currently using Samsung Galaxy SII.

It is very easy to change country on Google play. for doing this you
need to change a few setting. For changing the setting just follow
the following steps:-

1. Firstly you need to login on your Google account2. After that go to settings3. Then select edit profile
4. There you will see the country option with drowbox
5. There select your country which you want

So your country is changed on your Google play.

Its simple you just have to change the country Option what you have set in the Google profile. Sign into Google profile, there you will get all the Details about yourself what you have provided to the Google.

Simply use the Edit profile option and change the country, after that remember to save.now your profile will be active under India.

you need to root it which isnt that easy but if you do root you can download an app called market enabler it will change it to any region you want. hope i helped

To fake Play Store believe that you are from a different country, you must have a rooted phone...

Download Marker enabler from the play store...

Open the App Market enabler and first Back up your current settings. To do the Click on ‘Save current settings’.

Next select the country or carrier from the settings tab...

If you want to go back to previous settings hit Restore...

Its pretty simple.Don't worry.
All you need to do is just change your Country in your Gmail account from which you are accessing your Play Store.
It will change itself according your Gmail Profile Settings.
Just Edit your profile in order to Change Country.Its done.

I want to change country in play store but the instruction to change it in my Google account does not seem clear to me. I have logged into Google apps but I don't see any setting which specifies my country. Can someone please advise? Thank you

1.Firstly go to the gmail account which you have assigned to the play store.

2.Now tap on the edit option of your account details.

3.Now you set your country as India.

4.Now open play store it will automatically change your country name.

in that you can edit the profile option and change the country

I also tried doing the change of location from google account settings but noticed that the mobile and desktop google play stores havent changed yet. Bummer...any reasons why?

So first of all go and turn on your android device and then just go to the home screen and then just go to and open the menu option...And then just Login into Google account...After that just enter the ID and password...And then just go and press on to the settings option...And then just press edit..Now at the end just select the country you want to change...And then just press to save....ALL Done .....

None of above replies work. Changing the settings in your google profile has no impact on play store. If you have moved to a new country, the easiest way is open a new gmail account in that new country, and then change the email account used in playstore to make purchases. I did this without encountering any further restrictions on what I could access.
