How to change the server name and port number for an e-mail account set up on Android based Samsung Galaxy Note?

Even though I have set up an e-mail account on my Android based Samsung Galaxy Note, I can’t send the messages properly using the device. I need to change the server name and port number for avoiding this issue. What are the steps for that?

First of all, bring up the application list by tapping the ‘Application’ icon on the home screen. Tap the ‘E-mail’ icon afterwards and press the ‘Menu’ button on the bottom left part of the phone. Navigate into the bottom part of the short menu pop up on the screen and hit the ‘Settings’ option. Choose the e-mail account you want to configure and tap over ‘Outgoing Settings’ option under ‘Server settings’ label. Tap the ‘Server’ field and ‘Port number’ field for editing them. Press the arrow button on the bottom part of the phone for entering the edited changes into the settings. Finally, hit the ‘Done’ button for saving the settings.
