While Geotagging is enabled on your phone others can access or view the location of the photo you share. However, by following these directions you can disable this feature on your Android 2.3 smartphone. First of all open the app drawer of your phone and find the camera app. Select the camera app by tapping on it. In the camera app, tap on the location icon to select it. Set the OFF button in the location icon to disable the geotagging option. In some Android versions you can find the geotagging option on the settings and you can directly disable it there.

If Geotagging is activated that means any one can access your photos & location of the photos you share. You can disable the feature by doing things. Now unlock your device then open the 'app drawer'.Once done now locate the option for 'camera' app,tap over that to open. After that select & tap over 'location' icon. Now next step is to tap on "Geotagging" app to off the feature.Once done feature will be disabled & in some android phones you can find option for geotagging on the settings & from there you can directly disable or enable the feature.

    Hello Guest,
You can disable Geotagging by opening THE Camera under the app drawer(menu).
After that tap on the screen and select the "Settings" gear icon present on the left hand side of the screen.
After that you will see many options- Shot mode, Img Quality etc.
The last option is "Tag Location". Tap on this and then disable it by tapping on the "Off" option.
Note: Geotagging can only be done when "GPS" option is enabled, without that you can still maintain your privacy, you need not worry.!
Thank You, Hope this info proves useful.
