Go to Menu --> Settings --> Wireless and Networks --> Tethering and Portable Hotspot --> Portable Hotspot.

Above is the path for setting up separate Wifi connection. Access the Path and set up the connection. This will enable the Network provided internet connection to Portable Wifi. Using that now you can set up a router and then connect the Other Devices.

    Hi,
In order to use WiFi separately in your phone that is to Host WiFi network using the phone you have to open the application drawer and then select the "Settings" menu from that select the option as "Tethering and Hotspot" under the "Wireless & Networks" menu select that so that you will be able to enable a WiFi hotspot by selecting the option as "Wireless Tethering" enable that option in the "Tethering and Hotspot" menu and then enter a password if you need a protected connection. Once it is enabled you can use to share your mobile phone's internet connection with that of the others. In order to share files using wireless there are are many applications that are available in the "Play Store" such as "WiFi File Transfer" this application helps in transferring media file over WiFi to devices that are connected to the Same network.
    Hope this Helps.

To use you android phone as WiFi server on connection provider you need to
convert your mobile in Hot Spot. For doing this you need to do some setting
on your phone. So for it just do as I am giving below:-

    1. First of all open Settings
    2. In setting select Wireless & Networks option
    3. then scroll down and select Tethering & portable hotspot
    4. And then select Portable Wi-Fi hotspot to enable the service

After doing this your android phone is converted in hot spot and now you can
connect your any WiFi device to it and can access the internet on that.

Hello Guest, You can do so easily by wi-fi hotspot settings. For this you need to point to Menu>Settings>Wireless and Networks>Tethering and Protable Hotspot. After that turn on wi-fi in your other device. Now, the connection will be hosted. Enjoy. Thank You. Hope this helps. :-)
