    How to install encrypted certificated on HTC android smart phone?

    Where can I find the encrypted certificated for my HTC android phone? How do I install these certificates on my android phone?

    You can get the certificates from the computer that you connect your phone. For this first you need to find the certificates that are needed and import then on to the phone. You will be able to find the certificates using the command prompt and typing in certmgr.msc. Once you get the certificates, you need to import them to the SD card of the phone. Now on the SD card, you need to change the extension of the file to “.p12” from “.pfx”. Now on the handset you need choose menu and then choose the option security. Enter the password, and then you need to install the file from the SD card onto the android phone.

    To install encrypted certificates on HTC android smart phone, follow these steps:-
    * Use command prompt and type certmgr.msc to get certificates to the android phone.
    * Import these certificates to the SD card.
    * Change the extension of the file from '.pfx' to '.p12' on SD card.
    * Press menu.
    * Press security & enter password.
    * Now from SD card, install it to your phone.

    Offcourse you can install encrypted certificated on HTC android smart phone

    To install encrypted certificated on HTC android smart phone, you have to follow some steps:

    Steps:

    • Find certificates by typing in certmgr.msc in command prompt
    • Connect the device and PC via USB cable
    • Transfer the certificates files to SD card of your device
    • Disconnect the device
    • Change file extension from “.pfx” to “.p12”
    • Go to Menu
    • Locate and tap on “Security”
    • Enter the desire password
    • Install the files from SD card to phone
    • You have successfully done !!

    Try this steps to install encrypted certificate,

    >> By following those steps you will get your certificate file (for example abc.pfx).
    >> This is the file which you will need to install on your android device.
    >> Copy this file to the root folder of your SD card.

    >> After doing this go to Android Market and download ASTRO file manager.

    >> It is a free file manager program for your android device.
    >> If you do not have your device connected to internet, then you can download from your computer and manually install ASTRO manager.
    >> Once it gets installed open ASTRO File Manager, locate your certificate in it, Tap on your certificate and hold it.
    >> File options dialogue box will open up, in this box click on Edit button.

    >> Then From the Edit options select Rename.

    >> A new window will pop up asking you to rename the selected file.
    >> In this box, just change your certificate extension from .pfx to .p12 and hit OK. A new confirmation box will pop up. Confirm the rename by clicking Change.

    >> Go toASTRO File Manager and go to Settings > Security and tap on Install from SD card.

    >> A Dialogue Box will pop up asking the password to extract the certificate contents. Enter the password in the dialogue box and hit ok.
    >> After extracting certificate contents, the system then asks you to add a Name to the certificate. Write the name you want to keep and tap OK.
    >> It will then ask for the credential storage password. Please enter the password you have set for credential storage and tap OK.
