How to navigate between articles in Google Reader using Volume buttons in Android phone?

I have installed Google Reader app into my Android phone recently and it is possible to read articles through the app without much issues. I would like to use the Volume buttons to switch between the articles. How do I set it up?

Once you launch the Google Reader app on your device, press the ‘Menu’ button on it. A horizontal menu will appear on the bottom part of the device after that. Navigate through that menu and tap the ‘More’ option located at the right side. Scroll through the list pop up on the screen afterwards and hit the ‘Settings’ option. This will bring up another list of options on the screen related to settings. You can find ‘Volume key navigation’ option among that list. Select the checkbox next to that option for enabling it.
