How to overcome the loss of ‘Menu’ button in HTC Butterfly smartphone?

I have purchased HTC Butterfly smartphone few days back and found there is no ‘Menu’ key in it. I am quite disappointed with this. Does this phone provide any options for doing the function of ‘Menu’ button?

You can use the ‘Recent apps’ button for this purpose. It is required is to set this button for opening the Menu. The first step required is to slide the ‘Notification’ panel on the device and open it. Navigate through that panel and locate the gear icon for settings. Tap that icon and wait for the settings list to appear on the screen. Scroll though that list and hit the ‘Display, gestures & buttons’ option. After that, you need to tap over the ‘Recent apps’ button. Then, you can select ‘Press’ or ‘Press and hold’ option for opening the menu.
