How to recognize the network in use on android powered Motorola Droid 2 handset?

There are several networks in and around the area where I use my android powered Motorola Droid 2 handset. I couldnít recognize which network is currently in use on my device. How can I know that?

Recognizing network option is not practical in all available networks due to some security settings. You can first go to the main screen of the gadget to go for the settings option. Followed by that, you must opt for the ‘Wireless & networks’ section. Then the ‘Mobile networks’ section on the page has to be selected. On the specific page, you can see the network in use, if that option is allowed on that network. Most of the private network has the settings which will not disclose their details. Because of that, you can’t recognize them when in use.
