How to restart locked Android Samsung Galaxy Note 2?

My new Android Samsung Galaxy Note 2 seems to be not perfect at all. It might get locked up and become unresponsive at uneven times. How can I resolve this problem of my device?

To make the tablet restart you can do a soft reset on your Android device. Simply hold down the power button for atleast around ten seconds or more. This will force the tablet to shut down. After that it will allow you to power it back up again. If this doesn’t work and you are still having issues with your tablet being locking up. Then you may need to perform a hard reset on the device.

    Hard reset:

:: Press the power switch with volume up button for few second.

:: Now from the boot screen select the recovery mode.

:: And then press the reboot option.
