How to transfer data between Android Nexus 7 and Mac?

I am using an Android Nexus tablet and also Apple’s MacBook. I want to transfer data between my tablet and laptop but it is not accessible when the Nexus is connected to the Mac via USB. Is it possible to mount the tablet and transfer files without any problem?

After the Android File System application is downloaded you can install the Android File System app by opening the DMG file. Now you can move this App into the respective folder. Once installed using the USB cable connect your Android Nexus 7 to your Mac. Then the application Android File System should be opened. It will recognize your tablet, which then opens a Finder-type window in your tablet. You can just drag and drop files and media into this window. In addition to that it is possible for you to create new folders and delete files. Be certain that you know which files you are deleting because you will break the OS when you delete or alter the system files. If the Nexus 7 is in the mode, media device (MTP) transfer, you will receive a `no device found’ message.

You can also use the Bluetooth feature to transfer the data between android and Mac.

:: For that move to the settings in to device.

:: Once the system settings is open then you have to select the “Wireless and networks" option.

:: Now under it, choose the "Tethering and portable hotspots" that you want to do.

:: Then here you can turn ON the Bluetooth from the device.

:: After than you can select the "Bluetooth Preferences" option.

:: Now here click the "Devices" tab and "Pair New Device".

:: Then click "Search Again" in the "Bluetooth Device" dialog box.

:: After than press the "Pair" option.

:: Here you enter a PIN number,so that you can pair the device to Mac.

:: Now you can easily transfer the data to Mac OK.
