if you want to backup your media content (music, pics, documents), you can simply copy them on your pc for the meantime and retrieve later..
as for apps backup.. you can go to play.google.com.. and look for app named "App Backup and Restore"..
it is a nice free app and easy to use.. has good reviews..
create a backup of the apps you want and restore them later using the same app..

    Hi,
There are two ways you can transfer the data from one memory card to another.
    1. Using Titanium Backup(Needs Root Access) you do a batch process and then backup all user application with data. Please do note that system applications should not be transferred as they will cause you problems.
    2. Copy everything perfectly without altering any stuffs from SD card to PC and then copy the same to another SD card and download exact same versions of applications.
    3. This is a method if you have installed any recovery for your device. You can backup Sd-ext and then restore them making the same amount of partition in the new SD card but if there are system applications in the Extension partition then it will lead to problems.
    Hope this Helps.

    Hello friend,

There are only app data files on your SD card. It wouldn't affect your installed apps.
The only thing you have to do is copy everything i.e each and every single bit of data as it is to your new SD card.
Now, I'll consider your new SD card is empty:
Connect your old SD card to your PC through your mobile or a card reader. Now copy all the files to a folder on your PC.
Now connect your new SD card and transfer all the previously copied content to the root of your new SD card and you are done.
One thing you have to make sure is that you even copy the hidden content as it is.

    Hope this helps,
    Regards!

    There are two ways
1)if you have rooted phone then get titanium backup app and do following steps
    1.open titanium backup.
    2.open option menu(right key).
    3.then select batch
4.now select backup all user apps and data.Press ok
Now copy titanium backup folder from old sdcard to new sdcard
do steps 1,2 and 3 above
now select restore all apps.Your done..........
2)if you dont have rooted phone then
Download app called 'Appsaver' from google market.
    1.open appsaver
    2.backup all apps you want.
now copy appsaver folder from old sd card to new sdcard
now open appsaver folder from new sdcard and install apps.Your done...........

Difference is that titanium backup is realy better because it backup app+data and all apps
but appsaver backup only apps not data and some apps not supported by appsaver
    Somake your choice...........

Just remove the SD card from the S II and copy all its content to the new SD card.

    Here's the detailed procedure---->

    1. Go to Settings.

    2. Select SD card and phone memory.

    3. Tap on Unmount SD card.

    4. Remove the old SD card and connect it to a PC via Memory card reader.

    5. Now copy all the data in the old card to the new card.

    6. Place the card in the new phone and wait till it finishes scanning the SD card.

    This should solve your problem.

    Hello

Its really simple. Copy all the contents from your present sd card via usb or by a usb card reader.

Then go to settings-->>storage-->>remove your sd card safely.

Then put the same contents back to your new sd card. Then insert the new sd card to your phone.

Thats it!! all your things should work just fine.

    Thank you
