Actually I am having Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 mobile which I brought recently. It contains Android market in it but now as everybody knows the Android Market has been changed into Google Play store so I want to update it but I don't know how to do it so please help?

Whats the Android version your mobile device has?? Based on the version, the android OS automatically upgrades the Android market into Google play.
If your device has not automatically upgraded then try it manually, visit the Market when you are connected to the internet, Check for "Google play", The system will automatically start updating your Market into Google Play.
if you don't get it automatically, download the app from below link manually and install.

Dear friend You just have to your homescreen and then in to settings and then go to update application and your android market will be treated to google play store I hope it helpsHappy to help Thanks and visit again

The update will happen automatically, you dont have to try it manually, just connect to the internet and connect to Market it will get updated immediately. Good lUCK

Hello ,
the android market app is automatically updated to the new Google Play app in few minutes if you try connecting your device via internet . So make your internet conditions right and log in to the android market with the help of your google account . It will automatically recognise your device and updating your app . Hope that helps . It is automated for this application.If you dont receive the same , you can navigate to Settings >> About Phone >> Software Updates >> Check Now
You can download and install the applications from “Google Play Store”
Reboot your device once your install the application.
You do not have to update the Play store... Whenever there is an update the app automatically updates itself to get rid of the bugs present in the old version... Just browse the apps available in the play store and keep closing and opening the app frequently... The updated app will be opened when the download of update is complete...

It should automatically change when you open android market and you have a active data connection.
If it doesnt happen then download the latest market apk from the internet and install it. after that open android market again .
this time it should ask you for a confirmation that android market is being changed to play store do you accept the terms and confitions or not.
accept it and you are done.

My X8 will not update to Google play; I have the latest updates when i check, i have an google account (gmail), but I´m still not able to upgrade Market to Google Play. I read that i need to connect an account in Market, how do I create that?! Can´t find that!

just do one thing first open your play store.
If you have GMAIL account just login with that and the phone will update the PLAY STORE automatically and you don`t have to do anything by yourself...
