Media Scanner runs unnecessarily on Android phone

For the past few weeks, I am having trouble with the Media Scanner on my Android phone. It tends to run more than expected time and does not stop even after finishing the scan. I have rooted my smartphone for preventing this and the issue still persists on the device. Is there any solution available for this problem?

At first, download ‘Startup Manager’ app from Google Play and install it into the phone. Get into the Menu and open the app by hitting its icon. Locate ‘System’ tab from app main screen and press the ‘System’ tab. Scroll through the list of apps pop up on the screen and tap over the ‘Media Storage’ option. After that, select ‘Disable’ from the available options. You can then find a success message on the screen from which tap the ‘OK’ button. Quit the app afterward and reboot the device to check whether the issue gets resolved or not. At first, download ‘Startup Manager’ app from Google Play and install it into the phone.
