Music Playback produces echo with Motorola Razr Maxx running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Every time I try to play songs through my Motorola Razr Maxx running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, I can hear echo which is quite annoying. In what way can I avoid the echo?

As a first step, tap the ‘Settings’ option visible on the home screen. You can then find a list of settings options pop up on the screen. Scroll through that list and hit the ‘Sounds’ option. This will redirect you to the sound settings on your android phone. Click on the ‘Wired Stereo Devices’ option afterwards and disable it. If you can still find the issue, then scroll down to audio effects under sound settings. After that, clear the check box next to ‘Enable Audio Effects’ option appears on the screen.
