Navigation app for Android closes automatically on Sony Xperia S handset

I was using a Navigation app for Android on my Sony Xperia handset for some months. From last week onwards the app gets closed automatically in between use without any prompts. How can I overcome this issue?

The cache of your navigation app may be full causing this auto close issues. So you need to clear off the cache of this navigation app. For that first you need to open the application menu on the handset. Then you have to move to the settings page from the menu options. There you need to tap on ‘applications’ followed by ‘manage applications’ options. Select the navigation app from the app listing of your phone. Finally you have to tap on the option named ‘clear cache’. If the issue persists, you can try reinstalling this app again which will solve the issue.

    hey

The problem in your navigation app can be due to the following reasons :

    - The application got corrupted
    - There are many applications running in the phone in the background
    - Your phone is not capable of opening so many applications at that time
    - The phone's memory is not free enough to open the app
    - Your mobile speed gets too slow and hence it force closes the app

Try out the following to remove this issue .. :

    - First of all free up some space in the phone's internal memory
    - Then uninstall and reinstall the app
    - Close any background running app when not in use
    - Dont open so many apps at the same time as it slows down the speed of phone and force closes the apps which you open
    - Also try by resetting your phone and then use the app

    thanks ..

    Hello,
First you need to move on to the settings screen of your phone. Tap on the option that is labelled ‘accounts & sync’. Then tap on the specific ‘SyncML’ account from the list. Then hit on the option named ‘account settings’. Select the ‘Sync Interval’ option from the next screen. There you can select the desired interval from the options provided. Then you need to save the currently selected settings. :-D
