Re: Wi-Fi connected but Not working? How to fix this error?

    Dear friend

The problem is due to slow speed of the wifi. So you have to solve that problem:
1 First of all restart the modem
2 Then check for the data plan available
3 Call service provider for help
4 I think your max data limit has been over.
5 So either buy a new plan or wait for new session

    hope this will help you

Re: Wi-Fi connected but Not working? How to fix this error?

Since your Android phone is showing up the list of available Wi-Fi networks and then you are not able to connect the reason could be Wi-Fi sleep policy(system fails to connect after device goes to sleep) or use of Dynamic IP .

In case of latter you need to enable Static IP address for Android device.GO to Settings > Wireless and networks > WiFi Settings > Click menu button (left) and select advanced. From there enable "use static IP" under "IP settings".

If former is the problem just restarting your device may help.

If you are still stuck at the same place revert back to the factory settings or use apps like "Fix My Wi-Fi".

    Hope It Helps!

    Hi friend,
To establish no time limit for the WiFi,do the following steps
I think you need to go to Menu-->Settings-->Wireless and Networks-->Wifi Settings-->Tap the Menu button and Go to "Advanced"..There go to "WiFi Sleep Policy"...In that make the Sleep Policy as "Never"...This might solve the problem

    Thank you!!!

I had the same problem and once I UNCHECKED 'STATIC IP ADRESS', than it worked again. Menu- settings- WiFi -WiFi settings - advanced settings (menu button) uncheck static ip address.

Re: Wi-Fi connected but Not working? How to fix this error?

It happens with Wifi Connections if the signal strength is not good. Thats the main reason, in this case, you see your mobile connected to the device but you wont be able to access the page.

    Chances are:
    • Limit set by the Wifi Provider, Provider can set the Wifi for only certain number of user at a time. when you try to access after the limit is reached, your device will detect and connect but it wont access the Wifi connection.
    • Signal Strength of the Wifi.
    • Required permission to access the Network.
    Solutions:
    • Connect your device to Wifi where you get full strength to access internet and see you are experiencing the same problem.
    • Settings --> Wifi Settings --> Press menu --> go to Advanced --> Set the Wifi mode into "Never Sleep".
