Re: Not able to attach a 10MB image as an email attachment on android phone?

It is not possible to attach a 10MB image as an email attachment on android phones. The maximum size of a file that can be attached is 5MB. This is the case of Gmail accounts. This standard also exist on other email accounts types too. The IMAP and also the POP mail accounts also have 5MB as the standard size for an attachment. In Gmail accounts only images can be attached as an email attachment. For the other types of email accounts, all kinds of files, images, videos and audios can be sent as an attachment.

Yes dear, you would not be able to attach your 10 MB image as an email attachment on Android phone. This is due to some limitations or restrictions given to the mailing accounts. For almost all the email accounts types have the same limitations or restrictions. But when speaking especially about Gmail , you will not able to attached your 10 MB file as an attachment on the mail.Gmail can only attached image upto 5 MB. Suggest you to go for different email account types and try to send your image.

For any other query you can post on our forum. Your query will be solved at the earliest!!!

Re: Not able to attach a 10MB image as an email attachment on android phone?

Well you cannot send an 10mb file from your android device as the maximum size that can be attached to your pop account is 5mb. While in case of gmail you can attach files upto 25mb . So if you want to attach file in pop then you need to compress the file from 10mb to 5mb.

    Hey

You can attach upto 25 mb so i dont think you should be having any problem attaching a 10mb file.

May be your internet connection is just too slow. Try uploading or attaching your files via wifi.

    Thank you

Re: Not able to attach a 10MB image as an email attachment on android phone?

    Dear ...

I think you are using the GMAIL first time and don't know much about this.
Actually the size of an image or any other content can be attach as a file by the user is only 5 MB and attaching a 10 MB file is itself not possible.

So better to decrease its size or compress the image.

    thanks
