Is it possible to avoid the installation of non market apps on Android 4.0 (ICS)?

By default, it is not possible to install applications from any unknown sources in Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. I have heard that it is possible to enable this on your device if you are sure that the application is safe. How can I activate this feature on my device?

The process of enabling this feature on Android 4.0 will be different from the older version. However, this can be adapted simply by following some directions. First of all, open up the app drawer and find settings. Tap on the settings option to select it. In the settings screen, just scroll down to find the security option and tap on it to select it. In the security window just scroll down to the device administration section and then put a check mark against the Unknown Sources option. Then a warning window will appear just tap on the OK button to continue.
