    It is possible to create a backup of your personal dictionary on your HTC android smart phone. A backup can be created and saved on the memory card installed in the device. For this, you need to open the notification panel from the home screen. Then, you need to tap on the icon for settings. After that, in the list of options that pops up, you need to select, Language and Keyboard. Now, you need to tap on the option HTC Sense input. Out of the many options there, you need to select the option Personal Dictionary. There you will be able to find the option called Sync personal dictionary. Then you need to tap on copy to storage card.

    There are two ways to do this---

    1. Go to Settings---> Language and Keyboard---> HTC Sense input---> Personal Dictionary--->
    Sync Personal Dictionary---> Copy to Storage card.

    This will back up data to SD card...

    2. Use Titanium Backup ★ root to back up the app data and store the HTC keyboard app's data and restore it when necessary.
    You can also freeze the app...

    Try
    Titanium Backup ★ root---> link

    Heyy .. I used Backup Caretaker for the backup of customized dictionary as it was very annoying to lose all words every time I change my device or upgrade android. Its available in Google Play and can be downloaded ans installed on any android device and any version. In addition to dictionary I created the backup files for SMS, MMS, System settings, contacts, call logs,and alarms
