By following some simple directions you can make your .mobi files registered as books. Firstly, connect your Android Kindle Fire to the computer and move the desired .mobi files from Kindle Fire. You need to download and install Calibre, a powerful eBook management system to perform the conversion of the .mobi files. When it is installed launch Calibre on your device. Then go to the top of the applications and then select Add Books. Then browse to the location of the .mobi file you wish to fix and then click on Open button. When the file is imported to the Calibre library click on the ‘Convert Books’ button to select it. In convert window, change the output format to MOBI using the dropdown button. Now choose MOBI option on left pane and then under the Kindle options on right pane, access the ‘Personal Doc tag’ and then delete the [PDOC] that is in the associated textbox.
