Is it possible to Receive any file through Bluetooth using any Apps from market as my default Bluetooth doesn't support File sending/Receiving?

I have a T-Mobile G1 which was the first android mobile in the world. It has an android version of 1.6. It has a bluetooth but it shows that it is available only for talking via bluetooth. Now in this modern world, I need to use this phone to send or receive the files through bluetooth. So please tell me whether it is possible as i don't want to purchase another mobile for the purpose of using bluetooth. Certainly I came across a market app "Bluetooth file share" .So please inform me whether it will work or not?

    DEAR FRIEND,
In T-Mobile G1 bluetooth is only used for talking purpose.. For file sending and sharing you buy BLUETOOTH FILE SHARE application from store. Then set correct settings thats enough to send ans receive files..

    Dear friend,
The app " Bluetooth File Transfer" by Medieval works very fine in these problemsSearch for the Medieval Software - Bluetooth File Transfer (OBEX FTP) for Android. It is in the app store as well. You may also try to search the driver from the internet.

    Hi there,

IF your MOBILE BLUETOOTH is producing an issue with the sending/receiving files then none of the app from the PLAY STORE will work out help you.
Because, all the apps downloaded from the PLAY STORE take the use of mobile bluetooth to perform their action..

    Regards!!!
